Today , we will be learning few Photoshop Tips & Tricks for Smart and Intelligent Working
# Trick 1: Convert a part of Image into GRAY SCALE
1. Select a part of image using any Selection Tool.
2. Inverse the Selection.
3. Add a New Hue & Saturation Adjustment Layer (This allows you to perform settings on the Layer without affecting actual contents)
4. Click COLORIZE.
5. Now, adjust the values of HUE/SATURATION/LIGHTNESS, to get results as per your requirements.
IMPORTANT
* Using this technique, you may convert only a part of image into GRAYSCALE or leave any part as COLORED and rest as GRAYSCALE.
* For Back Screen effect, increase LIGHTNESS.
* For more stylish effect, use STROKE and INNER GLOW available under LAYER STYLES to highlight particular part of image. Also reduce the FILL Value.
# Trick 2: Defining a new FILL Pattern
1. Create a New PhotoShop Document
2. Apply Brush Styles and other options that you want to be used as FILL pattern
3. Edit> Define Pattern
4. Afterwards, open an existing document or you may create a new document.
5. Select part of image you want to fill the pattern.
6. Edit> Fill> Pattern
7. Select the Name of Pattern and OK.
# Trick 3: Creating a STORY BOOK Effect
1. Open the image to be used as BASE IMAGE.
2. Create a copy of Layer , press CTRL + J.
3. Now, IMAGE > ADJUSTMENT> DESATURATE
4. Click at LAYER MASK Button.
5. Choose the BRUSH TOOL. Make sure the Color is BLACK.
6. Drag over the area you want to reveal.
7. Write appropriate text to suit your image.
# Trick 4: Highlight a Part of Image (Method I)
1. Open the image.
2. Create a Blank Layer (CTRL + SHIFT + N) and mark a selection over area, you want to highlight.
3. Press ALT and click on the Laler Mask Icon to apply Layer Mask.
4. Now, click at Layer Icon of Mask and Press ALT+ BACKSPACE to fill the layer with BLACK.
5. Now, Apply FILTER>BLUR>GAUSSIAN BLUR
6. Increase the Blur to soften the MASK AREA.
# Trick 5: Highlight a Part of Image (Method II)
1. Open the image.
2. Create a copy of LAYER (CTRL + J)
3. Apply GAUSSIAN BLUR(FILTER Menu)
4. Select Brush Tool with WHITE and apply Paint over Area you want to delete, so that the underneath image is revealed
# Trick 6: Highlight a Part of Image (Method III)
1. Open the Image.
2. Create a Copy of Layer. (CTRL +J)
3. Apply heavy GAUSSIAN BLUR (you may apply heavy MOTION BLUR instead).
4. Choose ERASER TOOL and drag over the area you want to reveal.
While using the BRUSH or ERASER Tool, Please Mind using VERY SOFT BRUSH
