Sparkling Text using Photoshop CS5.5

Sparkling Text: Add Sparkle to your Name
Create a new Photoshop document with following specification


Set the Fore Ground color to # 09531f and Background color to #f9d46.
Choose Gradient Fill and their in Radial Fill to fill the Background of your Photoshop Document
Your Photoshop document looks something like shown below
Now Filter>Noise > Add Noise and do the setting as shown below:
 
Afterwards, Filter> Blur>Gaussian Blur

 
Now, Choose the Horizontal Text Tool and click to type some text, like shown below

 
Let us now begin with our desired task of making our text to SPARKLE. So  , now we are going to play with Layer Styles ,

Double click the Text Layer to open the Layer Style dialog box and perform all the settings given in the following steps. However, one must not be afraid of playing with colors and other layer style setting to get more interesting results, one of which I am going to show you



 
Now set the Foreground color to #18893b and Background color to #65ed8f
Hold CTRL Key and Click on Text Layer to make the selection like

 
Now create a new Layer above Text Layer and name it Dev Sparkle and Filter> Render> Cloud, to get following impression

 
Press CTRL + D to get rid of selection.
Now, Filter>Artistic>Rough Pastels and do the following settings as shown here:
 
Now change the Blend Mode of Dev Sparkle layer to OVERLAY

 
Select Brush Tool , then goto Window > Brush and perform setting given below:
                   Spacing : 75
Under Shape Dynamics perform following settings
                   Size Jitter=100%
                   Angle Jitter=100%

Under Scattering,
Check the Both Axes check box and set 1000% as Scatter percentage. Also you may set Tip Count from 2 to some other value to get more sparkles on your text

After performing these Brush related setting, create a New Layer above Background layer and name it, More Dev Sparkles

Now, right Click on DEV Layer(original text layer) and select Create Work Path.
Then Click on Dev Sparkle Layer to make it active layer and set the Fore ground color to #88f2a8

Now, choose Direct Selection Tool from toolbar and Right click to select Stroke Path and perform following settings
 
Press Enter to get rid of Direct Selection Path

Create a New Layer and name it SOFT BRUSH. Now set your Foreground color to White and select some soft round brush of nominal big size. Click to Highlight the areas you want
